Tussar Silk Hand Woven Stole, Shawl,- Hand-Knotted Fringe

 
This is a scarf, stole, wrap made from super soft, tussar silk-cotton blend fabric. The fabric is handwoven in a striped pattern. I have upcycled the fabric by hand-knotting the fringes on both ends to create this stole. The hand-knotted tassels on both ends create beautiful detail and prevent threads from coming out from ends.

Size = 70 cm x 180 cm
Material = tussar silk-cotton blend... super soft, delicate look scarf.
Use = scarf, shawl, wrap, stole. This can also be used as a bed runner, table runner, or tablecloth.

Tussar silk is also known as vegan silk but it is made from naturally discarded silk cocoons in forests. It has an unparalleled sheen.

The handwoven fabric for this scarf was bought from a fair price shop dedicated to the welfare of rural Indian weavers.
